ipcenter and Callidus Moldova, in cooperation with GRAWE CARAT MOLDOVA, integrated the Training Centre for financial and non-financial specialists “FINPractice” within the Center for Excellence in Economics and Finance. The even took place on July 1st in Chisinau, Moldova.
FINPractice is the result of an economic partnership between the Austrian Development Agency (ADA) and GRAWE CARAT, with the involvement of the National Bank of the Republic of Moldova, the National Commission for the Financial Market and the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research.
The infrastructure has been developed over two years as part of the Center for Excellence in Economics and Finance together with six curricula for short-term courses which were taught by trainers of the National Bank and the National Commission of the Financial Market.

Ms. Liliana Nicolaescu-Onofrei, Minister of Education, Culture and Research, who appreciated the support of the Austrian Development Agency in various technical assistance projects and expressed the hope that the Center for Excellence in Economics and Finance will continue to successfully uphold FINPractice.
Mr. Martin Ledolter, the general manager of the Austrian Development Agency, who mentioned that ADA supported Moldova in the field of education for more than 10 years, integrating the educational offer with the needs of the labour market. He stressed that ADA will continue to support the Moldovan educational reform.
Ms. Christine Freilinger, Ambassador of the Republic of Austrian to the Republic of Moldova, stressed the importance of exchanging knowledge between Moldovan institutions as well as companies and international ones, especially from Austria. The successful implementation of FINPractice has become a model for business partnership in Moldova.
Mr. Valeriu Chitan, President of the National Commission for Financial Market, who mentioned the importance of financial training for Moldovan citizens, as well as for employees of the banking and non-banking sector.
Mr. Octavian Armasu, Governor of the National Bank, who highlighted the importance of project sustainability and ensured that the National Bank will provide the necessary support to FINPractice to the full management by the Centre of Excellence in Economics and Finance.
