Creation of job opportunities for people with disabilities in the Republic of Kosovo (ALLE)

Project goal:

Improving job opportunities for the physically, and physically disabled, in the Republic of Kosovo through self-empowerment training and placement support

Result:

In an official ceremony, all participants of the program received their certificates, which reflected their achievements in their individual courses. Most of the graduates are now in unsubsidised employment!

Professional success through exchange (BEDA)

Project goal:

Adolescents and young adults from Germany, who have difficult access to the labour market,  complete a 2-month internship in Austria. The participants are transferred from ipcenter.at to a partner company where they undergo practical training. They are given support during their stay with all questions and concerns.

Design for Excellence (D4E)

Project goal:

Design and develop an integrated self-test learning solution that SMEs can use and deploy to prepare for EFQM certification.

Result:

The training software was completed on time and is now on the market.

Adult mobility in the Erzgebirge – integration through exchange

Project goal:

Unemployed young adults from Saxony are offered the possibility to undertake an internship in Austria to increase their employment opportunities. The focus is also on the exchange of know-how, experience and solutions, with experts and actors in regional labour market policy, who are part of the transnational partner network.

Result:

Most of the participants were already employed within a few months following the project’s completion.

Modular tourism training for Kosovo regions

Project goal:

Jobseeking Kosovars, from different regions of the Republic of Kosovo, are being tapped into by regional development agencies in tourism. A tailor-made modular training program, that offers a range of courses, from “retail and service orientation” to specific region-specific content, such as viticulture and art, ran for over 2 years.

Result:

The program not only helped many participants achieve a sustainable job, but also contributed significantly to the economic development of the regions concerned.
