On May 10th, the second “live” project meeting for our BACID project “Social Entrepreneurship” took place at ipcenter.at headquarter in Vienna. In a very comprehensive and intensive meeting, many topics were touched. First of all the activities and business areas of ipcenter.at were presented, followed by a very vivid discussion on how to facilitate our expertise for this project and for the future co-operation between ipcenter.at and KASPEV. ipcenter´s core competences, labour market projects (qualification measures for unemployed people), corporate trainings, e-learning and international education projects are of most interest for KASPEV. Furthermore, the use of e-learning tools remain of high interest, as nowadays modern, flexible, and easy accessible education-tools are state of the art.
In the second part of the meeting, the structure of the study concerning the situation of Social Entrepreneurship in Serbia, Austria and the European Union was discussed, and Mr. Tesic from KASPEV presented the first part of the study. Based on the draft, we achieved a common understanding where the study should be developed further.
Finally, as a follow-up of this project, two new project ideas will be developed. First project idea is „Social Economy Labs“. Said labs shall help develop South Europe and will include measures for education, visibility and access to funding. The second idea is to develop a curriculum for Social Entrepreneurship Managers. This project idea will be developed with a respective consortium to be submitted in an Erasmus+ Call.
