Initiative – Feasibility study for North African Gravure Printing Academy in Morocco

August 2017 – November 2017

Goals

The project aims to establish a Gravure Printing Academy in Morocco. Well trained employees will increase printing companies’ income, and further, develop the printing ecosystem/ value chain.

This academy would be the first of its kind in Africa, and would act as a model that could be scaled in other African countries (eg. Senegal and Tunisia).

Description

The business model in Morocco is a collective academy for the gravure printing companies that took part in a previous ipcenter project in SEE countries. The curriculum will be developed together with our experts, alongwith experts from partner companies involved in gravure printing. After curriculum development and pilot training, the courses will be offered to the companies, directly. Our intention is to establish a hub for gravure printing skills development, and offer a new technically advanced curriculum for skills development, which suits the local company’s needs.
